In my opinion, this is a great book for almost all ages(or who can at least understand it) to read. I read this book in free time-at least what I can read of it seeing the fact that some of its pages are ripped out-and it is very entertaining. My daughter absolutely loves the book and keeps it her room all the time. I also think that the book encourages people to get up and do something with themselves. For instance, not to sit around on the couch all day or be just plain lazy! I would recommend this book to anybody and everybody who was born in (just as it says in the book)1930 to 2000. It's a nice book and explains everything from birthdays to which constellation you were born under.. Everyone who has this book or is at LEAST planning to buy it, I hope you have the same response as do maybe even better about this book...

I gave this book to my son as a gift. One of his friends had it and he was intrigued with it. We looked up a few peoples birthdays and it really does seem to be right on the money. It's still pretty general, but it's a start if you're interested in this sort of thing.

This day-by-day set of astrological predictions about events, personal habits and predilections keyed to individual birthdays, whatever the sense and validity of its methodology is, is certainly fun and entertaining not to mention amazingly on target most of the time.
Part of its peculiar magic must be that when it misses its target, no one seems to want to talk about it (or even cares). But when it is "on," it is surprising to the point of being uncanny, and gets lots of chatter. One cannot but wonders how the "art" of such prognostication takes place. Obviously it must have a lot to do with the ambiguity embedded within "all general statements about personality and personal habits and predilections." Said differently, all general prognostications can be made to seem "detailed and specific," especially when spread out over twelve different none overlapping categories (signs). Some of the characteristics (properly worded) apply to some of the people all of the times; and some to all of the people some of the time. Couple this with the fact that season of birth may well have some minor correlation to personal habits, even if not to personality, and voila, we have predictions that "look to be right" most of the time.
